Three Unreleased Macs Discovered in Apple’s Find My Configuration Ahead of WWDC 2023 Event
Apple is set to take center stage on June 5 to announce its highly anticipated iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 along with a boatload of other updates. We have previously heard that the company might also take the opportunity to announce new hardware at the event, potentially a larger 15.5-inch MacBook Air or an iMac with upgraded internals. According to the latest, three unreleased Macs have been discovered ahead of Apple's scheduled WWDC 2023 event. Check out what you should expect from Apple at its WWDC event on June 5.
Apple working on three unreleased MAcs ahead of WWDC 2023 event,
Three unreleased Macs have been discovered in Apple's Find My configuration which aims to hint at what we should expect at the WWDC 2023 event in June. The unreleased Macs have Mac14,8, Mac14,13, and Mac14,1 identifiers that aim to reflect desktop machines. We can presume that the machines are desktop Macs because the configuration files feature "separation monitoring". What this means is that these unreleased Macs do not require active tracking through Find My. In contrast, the MacBook models do not feature the separation monitoring element, allowing Find My to precisely locate the machine.
While Apple is reported to be working on a wide range of Macs with upgraded internals, we are not familiar with the latest findings. Apple has three highly expected Macs in development that we are expecting from the company which includes the 15-inch MacBook Air, Mac Pro, and iMac. While the 15.5-inch MacBook Air is expected to be announced at this year's WWDC event in June, the others are expected to be announced sometime next year.
Apple's 15.5-inch MacBook Air will feature the same design as the 13.6-inch model. The machine will be powered by the same M2 chip as that of the 13.6-inch version. As for further upgrades, you can expect a bigger battery with the same M2 configurations as the 13.6-inch model. The iMac is expected to be announced sometime later while the Mac Pro will launch with the version of the M3 chip. Additionally, both products are expected to be powered by fabricated TSMC's 3nm process.
This is all there is to it, folks. We will share more details on the upcoming Macs as soon as something new is discovered. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
