Halo Infinite Multiplayer Gets First BTB Gameplay, Though the Preview Flight Might Be Delayed

Halo Infinite multiplayer

343 Industries shared new Halo Infinite multiplayer footage, including the first look at Big Team Battle (a 12v12 mode), during yesterday's official live stream.

Interestingly, Big Team Battle will feature 'loot caves' which can be hacked to access powerful weapons.

However, it seems like those eager to playing Halo Infinite multiplayer for the first time in the next Flight due to begin tomorrow may have to wait. The live stream opened with the developers hinting at a possible delay, though 343 Industries Community Director Brian Jarrard said it hasn't been decided either way.

As a reminder, the Halo Infinite multiplayer modes will be free once they release on December 8th alongside the paid story campaign. The game will be available on PC (via both Microsoft Store and Steam), Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X; as with all Microsoft first-party games, it'll be playable on day one for Game Pass subscribers.
