Apple announced the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models recently with major improvements in terms of performance as well as design. Apple introduced the A17 Pro chip based on a 3nm fabrication conjoined with a USB-C port that has a lot going for it. Apple took center stage at its Wonderlust event to show off what the new A17 Pro chip is capable of and today we have our very first example of how it will change the mobile gaming industry. A YouTuber has shown off the capabilities of the A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro as he plays Resident Evil Village on an external monitor using USB-C and a DualSense wireless controller.

One of the biggest changes introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro models is the new USB-C port. The new port is pretty capable on the 'Pro' models as it opens doors to faster data transmission. Well, a YouTuber by the name of Vincent Zhong shared his review on the platform that takes into account almost all aspects of the iPhone 15 Pro. To test the new USB-C port's capabilities, Zhong connected the iPhone 15 Pro to an external monitor which allowed him to play the Resident Evil Village on a bigger display.
To take things up a notch, he paired his DualSense wireless controller to the iPhone 15 Pro. Well, the end result is quite surprising as Zhong sat back and played Resident Evil Village using his iPhone 15 Pro on a bigger display. It can be seen in the video that the game looks absolutely stunning when it comes to performance as you can hardly see the frame drops and stutters. The entire visual and audio experience is excelled on a bigger display and it does not require any additional equipment to make it happen.
In the Resident Evil Village game settings, Zhong details that the resolution is 1560 by 720 with HDR turned on. Additionally, the frame rate is locked at 30fps. While there are downsides, the ability to play Resident Evil Village through your iPhone 15 Pro is nothing short of amazing. The A17 Pro destroys the competition in this regard and offers way more than it should for a mobile processor. The YouTuber highlights that the entire experience of the game is quite fluid.
