Huawei Watch GT4 Goes Official And is One of the Coolest Smartwatches You Can Get

There is no shortage of excellent smartwatches available in the market, and while that is a good thing, it also creates confusion among people who are looking to get something for themselves. You have the obvious names like the Apple Watch and the Galaxy Watch, and then there are options from Garmin and a lot of other companies. Huawei has now decided to release its Huawei Watch GT4, and while it might not be for everyone, it is safe to say that this watch does know what it is doing and offers a lot.

The Huawei Watch GT4 looks great, has a ton of features, and won't break your bank

The Huawei Watch GT4 carries the torch forward, and while it would work better if you are using it in the same ecosystem as other devices from the company, you have full iOS and Android compatibility. This makes the new smartwatch a compelling option for those who are looking to get something that can help them track various stats.

As the tradition with watches goes, the Huawei Watch GT4 can be yours in 41mm and 46mm. The smaller one is available with an oddly small 18mm lug-to-lug distance that Huawei is calling Pendant Design. You can buy the watch in three stunning finishes, including White Leather, Milanese, and a Two-Tone Piano Key, which is my favorite. The watches are equipped with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display and offer 352 ppi along with a 323mAh battery, and while you might think it is not enough, Huawei claims you can go up to seven days with it, which should be fine.

If you are going to fancy the larger version, the Huawei Watch GT4 in 44mm offers a normal 22mm lug-to-lug distance, and you can have this watch in four finishes. Huawei has gone with a Genta-esque design with an octagonal shape, and while it might not be for everyone, I love what the company is doing. The watch is available in Black Rubber, Brown Leather, Rainforest Green, and Steel. You get a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 326 pixel density, along with a 524mAh battery that should last you two weeks.

The Huawei Watch GT4 brings a number of watch faces that you can use to customize it to your heart's content. You also have AOD available, and of course, it would not be a smartwatch without monitoring technologies. The new smartwatch brings the TruSeen 5.5 Plus technology that can track heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, steps, and calories that you burn throughout the day. Users will also be able to track their menstrual cycles. Not just that, teh watch also has Sleep Breathing Awareness, a feature that can help identify sleep apnea symptoms.

All of this and more on the Huawei Watch GT4 is possible through the Stay Fit app for calorie management and more. The user experience has also been taken care of, and the watch has IP68 and 50 meters of water resistance. If you are looking to get your hands on the watch, it is going to run you £229.99/€249 for the 41mm White Leather variant and 46mm Black Rubber variant. The watch will be available to purchase through all major retailers on October 4th, next month.
