iPhone 15 Pro Images Allegedly Leaks to Show Thicker Design With USB-C, Action Button, and More Details

Apple will launch the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models next month, potentially in the third week of September. We have heard numerous details on the devices ranging from internals to the build quality of both models. However, we have never actually seen the iPhone 15 or the 'Pro' model in real life. Well, a few purported images of the iPhone 15 Pro have surfaced online that aim to highlight several factors.

iPhone 15 Pro images leak to show some crucial details of the device's design

The iPhone 15 Pro is expected to feature a grade 5 titanium build which is stronger but lighter than the stainless steel build on the iPhone 14 Pro. However, since titanium is more expensive than stainless steel, the 'Pro' models are speculated to be up to $200 more expensive than the current flagships. Now, leaked images of the iPhone 15 Pro have surfaced online that appears to highlight some of the major changes that are coming with the high-end models.

The alleged images of the iPhone 15 Pro were shared by the leaker Ice Universe on Twitter, suggesting that the photos are "said to be the real iPhone 15 Pro". However, the leaker also mentions that it is not confirmed if the device is indeed the iPhone 15 Pro. What this means is that the device could be a dummy unit built for case manufacturers.

The images show the iPhone 15 Pro from the front, bottom, and side, revealing some crucial details. It can be seen that the device will feature a similar camera layout on the back with the LiDAR scanner and the flashing resting at the same position as the current models. The camera plateau is more or less the same size as the iPhone 14 Pro but it is very hard to analyze it from the angle the picture was taken.

Other than this, the iPhone 15 Pro is also expected to come with a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port. The image does show the port in the middle of the speaker and the mic grill on each side with varying numbers of holes. USB-C is expected to be part of the entire iPhone 15 lineup this year which will open new possibilities for accessory makers.

Lastly, the leaked images of the iPhone 15 Pro also showcase the Action Button above the Volume buttons. The Action Button is reported to replace the Miute Switch this year which will house numerous shortcut features. It can also be seen that the Volume buttons are segregated amid earlier rumors of a single elongated button. The side of the iPhone 15 Pro also appears to be slightly thicker than the current models.

As mentioned by the leaker, it is unconfirmed that the purported images of the iPhone 15 Pro are real, so be sure to take the news with a grain of salt. Apple will announce the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models next month with a boatload of changes and new features, Combined with iOS 17, the iPhone 15 Pro models could serve to be Apple's biggest upgrade.
