Apple Is Already Selling A 35W USB-C Charger To Get You Prepared For Your iPhone 15 Upgrade

Apple 35W USB-C charger

The iPhone 15 is rumored to get a fast-charge upgrade to 35W, making the four new models potentially faster than the iPhone 14 lineup in this category. It looks as if after the official announcement has concluded, Apple will not need to announce new charging accessories for the new models because it is already selling a 35W USB-C charger at this time.

Apple also sells other chargers, but they deliver less wattage

At this time, we can assume that all iPhone 15 models will support up to 35W of charge, but as we have seen on previous occasions, Apple has given its ‘Pro’ models preferential treatment. In previous tests, both the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max could receive between 25W and 27W of power, though there were some instances in which the larger 6.7-inch model received 29W of power, but that was a rare occasion.

As for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, they were limited to 20W, though the strange thing to note here is that on Apple’s website, even the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are said to support a 20W power brick and nothing else. It is likely that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will support a higher maximum wattage than their direct predecessors, but they will probably charge slower than the ‘Pro’ models.

Apple had initially launched its 35W dual-USB-C charger for its MacBook Air lineup, but its latest accessory can also serve another purpose, and that is to top up the iPhone 15 battery. In fact, the $59 charger that is available on Amazon right now has two USB-C ports, just in case you decide to buy another iPhone for your partner.

However, most people will find $59 far too steep to spend on just a charger, but as we have mentioned before, Apple has released different chargers, so the next option would be to get the 30W one, which can be yours for just $35.99. The iPhone 15 launch is said to happen in September, so there are several more accessories that we will be listing in the future, so stay tuned for more updates.
