Game Ready Driver 536.23 Out Now Optimized for F1 23 and Aliens: Dark Descent

Game Ready GeForce Driver

NVIDIA released a new Game Ready driver for its GeForce graphics cards today. Version 536.23 is optimized for F1 23, the racing game from Codemasters launched yesterday for those who purchased the Champions Edition, and for Aliens: Dark Descent, the real-time action strategy game from Tindalos Interactive due to launch on June 20th.

F1 23 features support for NVIDIA technologies like DLSS 2 (Super Resolution) and Reflex, while DLSS 3 (Frame Generation) will be added in a post-launch update despite already being in F1 22. F1 23 supports multiple ray tracing options, including Shadows, Reflections, Ambient Occlusion, Transparent Reflections and, for the first time in the series, DDGI (Dynamic Diffuse Global Illumination).

The following displays also received official G-SYNC Compatible verification:

  • [Microsoft Flight Simulator] Game may randomly crash when playing in DX12 mode after updating to driver 531.41
  • [Red Dead Redemption] Game shows random stability issues
  • Fast sync caps the game FPS to the monitor's maximum refresh rate

  • Diablo IV
  • Starship Troopers: Extermination
  • Street Fighter 6
  • System Shock
  • The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum
