Apple will announce the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models later this year with a boatload of forward-facing changes. The company is expected to offer a wide range of variations in terms of design, such as the new Action Button that will replace the Mute Switch. However, it is never too early to speculate what the future of the iPhone could have in store for users. It was previously rumored that Apple will launch the iPhone 15 Pro models with single elongated solid-state Volume buttons. It was later coined that the company will reserve the feature for the iPhone 16 Pro models. This year, the company is expected to stick to the individual physical keys, similar to the iPhone 14 Pro models. However, the iPhone 16 Pro concept appears to show individual volume buttons. The concept is sticking to the idea that Apple will launch the iPhone 16 Pro models with a button layout similar to the current models.

Other than this, the concept also envisages the Action button which has been rumored to arrive with the iPhone 15 Pro models. The Action Button on the iPhone 15 Pro would be pretty similar to the Action Button on the Apple Watch. It can be mapped to perform specific functions like initiating Siri, launching a specific app, or adding a Shortcut command. However, be sure to take the news with a grain of salt since the final word rests with Apple. The Action Button resides above the Volume buttons and it is more or less the same size as the Mute Switch.

One of the major design changes highlighted by the iPhone 16 Pro concept is the camera layout. The concept imagines two pairs of cameras stacked vertically in a circular housing. The camera hardware shows the main camera, a wide-angle lens, and a periscope lens which has been rumored to arrive for the iPhone 15 Pro models as well. Additionally, the LiDAR scanner and the flash have been arranged diagonally inside the camera plateau. The concept envisions the device in various color options.
