Google Photos is Gaining 'Magic Editor' a New AI-Powered Feature to Help You Edit Your Pictures

Google has been focusing on AI a lot ever since Google Photos came out back in 2015. The company has added several AI-powered features, including the Magic Eraser that the company actually made available to everyone. Then we have the Photo Unblur tool as well that lets you fix the blur in your photos to a greater degree, and today, the company has announced Magic Editor.

Magic Editor on Google Photos looks like an excellent AI-powered photo editing feature that would make your editing experience super-easy

Magic Editor in Google Photos is going to serve as a new experimental editing feature that will use generative AI to help you fix the photos and make editing even simpler. Google has said that with Magic Editor, you will be able to make all the edits you want, and that too, seamlessly.

What is surprising is that Google has talked about how using Google Photos and the Magic Editor, you will be able to make "complex edits" without actually needing pro-grade editing skills. The Magic Editor will user various aspects such as generative AI, to really give your pictures the look you want to go for.

Google also mentioned that using Magic Editor within Google Photos will let you create new content and fill in the gaps. You can even reposition your subjects, and fill the gaps in with ease. I do understand that this feature sounds too good to be true but Google is working on it, and it will be coming to Google Photos pretty soon.

The best thing about the Magic Editor is that once the feature does launch for Google Photos, it will automatically keep learning and getting better with time, making the experience for you a lot better. The feature is set to come for the app later this year and we will keep you posted as soon as it launches. So stay tuned.
