Apex Legends “Imperial Guard” Event Brings Flashy Armor and New Mixtape Playlist
Apex Legends is rolling out yet another new event, entitled Imperial Guard, which will feature a variety of new armor skins inspired by various cultures around the world – for instance, Wraith’s legendary skin looks to be Japanese-inspired, while Loba sports a Roman-Centurion-themed getup. In all, you can look forward to new legendary skins for Wraith, Revenant, Wattson, Octane, and Gibraltar. The Apex developers at Respawn/Respawn Vancouver have come up with 24 new cosmetic pieces to collect in total. You can check out some of the new Imperial Guard goodies in the trailer, below.
Perhaps the most notable addition coming with the Imperial Guard event is the new Mixtape playlist, which lets you play a series of favorite modes – namely, Team Deathmatch, Control, and Gun Run – on a permanent rotation. Here’s a bit more detail on the Mixtape playlist…

We're also excited to be adding the Mixtapes modes to Custom Matches on March 7th! We'll also be adjusting the requirements to start a match based on the modes available.”

Finally, Wraith’s Kunai Heirloom is being updated to be more in line with more recent Heirlooms.
